Open to all clinical staff who are interested in learning and developing their knowledgebase on frailty.
This course is ideal for:
• Clinicians working in frailty teams or alongside frailty services
• Nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and all allied health professionals
• General practitioners and community healthcare providers
• Medical trainees and students
Course Aims:
This masterclass will explore ageing from a global perspective, focusing on how cultural, societal and health inequalities shape experiences of frailty and end-of-life care, and how these insights can inform culturally responsive practice within the UK.

Explain the concept of Disability-Adjusted Life Years (DALYs) and its relevance to frailty
• Recognise how culture influences experiences of ageing, frailty and end-of-life care
• Reflect on how global perspectives can inform culturally sensitive care in UK practice
• Identify opportunities to address health inequalities in frailty and palliative care
