Returned to Glory

Discover our re-loved furniture, soft furnishings and homeware and our inspiring designer own-label range, ‘Creates & Makes’; with all profits going to support the work of The Hospice of St Francis.

Our showroom on Northbridge Road, Berkhamsted, is jam-packed with quality re-loved furniture, bespoke painted furniture, reupholstered furnishings, designer cushions and lampshades in gorgeous, contemporary and stylish fabrics. 

Due to limited storage space we cannot accept every item offered to us so please email us at returnedtoglory@stfrancis.org.uk with pictures of your items plus dimensions. This saves you arriving and having to return home with items we can't accept.

Very large charity shop that refurbishes lots of stuff including furniture for sale onsite. Reasonable prices and lovely staff. They also run workshops onsite.

I love coming here. Sometimes I am looking for a particular item, other times I just look to see what they have in. The staff always display things really creatively and their projects are great.

I love this place. The furniture is displayed in such a lovely way; it looks a little like going into Ikea, where each area is defined by furniture and colour. Lovely to browse around.

Brilliant find. Great for quirky pieces for the home that you won't find anywhere else. Worth popping in regularly as donations seem to come in all the time and there's some lovely upcycled pieces.

There is always something tempting here. The furniture is always renovated to a high standard. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Worth a nose around.
