Fundraise for us
Make every moment count
When you fundraise for The Hospice of St Francis, you help ensure local people living with life-limiting illness receive the care, compassion and dignity they deserve.
Whether you run a marathon, host a coffee morning, choose us as your charity of the year, organise a quiz night or take on a personal challenge, every pound you raise helps us continue providing our specialist care and support to patients and their families across our community.
Together, we can make a real difference.
Why your fundraising matters
Our care is free for patients and their families, but it costs over £6 million each year to provide the compassionate support our community relies on, and we receive less than 20% of funding from the NHS.
Your fundraising helps us provide:
- Specialist nursing and medical care
- Emotional and psychological support
- Family and bereavement support
- Therapies that improve quality of life
- Care at the hospice, in patients’ homes, and in the community
Every event, challenge and donation helps ensure that we can keep delivering our outstanding care.
