The programme will allow for collaborative work during sessions alongside separate sessions for each discipline and will build on the success of previously run sessions.

Objectives:

Mental Health

  • What can palliative care offer individuals?
  • How to approach future planning discussions

Palliative Care

  • An overview of mental health care conditions
  • What support and services can mental health offer individuals?

Both

  • Referral pathways
  • Collaborative approaches through case study work and discussion

Please note that a large part of this day is arranged so that you will understand each discipline's perspective through delivery of group discussions and case studies.
