Who should attend:
Clinicians who grapple with ethical decision making for the well being of their patients
Course Aims:
To explore ethical decision making in relation to whether/ when to treat and not to treat patients
Objectives:
- To outline some ethical frameworks to inform approaches to treatment
- To highlight the benefits of honest conversations and palliative care approaches with patients
- To consider the pros and cons of different treatment approaches
- To reflect on case studies
- The provide space for discussion, questions and reflections
