Exciting News!

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from the Estates Team — The Hospice of St Francis has officially partnered with Ink and Toner Recycling Ltd to launch a brand-new Printer Cartridge Recycling Scheme that will help raise vital funds for our hospice!

Who are Ink and Toner Recycling Ltd?

They are Europe’s largest printer cartridge recycling company, with a strong track record of helping numerous charities build sustainable revenue streams. Their expertise and reputation mean our scheme is in very capable hands.

How it works (and how easy it is!)

The process couldn’t be simpler:

  • Collection boxes will be placed in some of the hospice office’s and in reception from today.
  • When the boxes are full, Ink and Toner Recycling Ltd will collect them directly.
  • They provide all the boxes and all the collections free of charge— so there’s minimal effort required from our teams.

Why it matters

Every cartridge recycled stays out of landfill, will not only help us reduce waste and protect the environment at the same time, but will also generate funds to support the compassionate care we provide. It’s an effortless way to turn everyday waste into something truly meaningful — helping us continue to be there for our patients and their families when they need us most.

How you can help:

We’d love everyone across The Hospice of St Francis to get involved! Please:

  • Use the collection boxes for any used printer cartridges from your office areas.
  • Spread the word to friends, family, local businesses, and community groups — they can bring their cartridges to the Hospice and place in a box.
  • Champion the scheme helping to build momentum and make this a success.

Together, we can make this simple, sustainable initiative a real win for The Hospice of St Francis.

Thank you for your ongoing support and enthusiasm — let’s make this scheme a big success!
