"I promised my Daddy I’d make him proud and I know he’d be proud of this."

“I wanted to raise some money to help the Hospice of St Francis because they helped my Daddy.

They looked after him really well & the doctors & nurses were lovely.

I promised my Daddy I’d make him proud & I know he’d be proud of this.

Daddy & I rode 10 miles once so this is the perfect way to remember him – doing what we both loved.

I chose £460 as Daddy was 46☺️.” – William, age 7

William has raised £3,135 for our care – smashing his target many times over! This inspiring young lad completed his mission by cycling 11.2 miles in 1 hr 41 mins!

His mum, Nikki said, “It was an absolutely amazing day; there are no words to describe how proud I am of my little superstar. I can’t believe how much he raised! A couple at the start of the ride had just lost a friend at the Hospice and they gave William £20. Then, a lady who lived by the finish line came out to see what was going on and sponsored him £20 too: so kind☺️.”

Keep our beds open

The NHS can fund 5 beds this year. To keep 8 beds open, we need £630,000 in donations. To open all 12 of our beds we would need another £370,000.

We have launched this appeal to help keep 8 beds open.
