“When Nana entered hospice care, we didn’t know what to expect. What we found was more than just comfort - it was a circle of kindness that surrounded her and gave our whole family room to breathe and just be present with her.
One moment that will stay with us forever was when we all sang “Sweet Caroline” by her bedside. It was one of her favourite songs, and even as her voice faded, she managed a smile and softly mouthed the words. The nurses joined in too, turning the room into something warm and full of life. That memory still makes us smile.
The Hospice gave us that space: to laugh, to cry, and to honour her life with love. Their care made all the difference, and we’ll carry their compassion with us always.
The Hospice gave us more than medical care; they gave us space to be a family again. To sit beside her, hold her hand, and say goodbye in a way that felt gentle and real.” - Jade & Leah

Keep our beds open
The NHS can fund 5 beds this year. To keep 8 beds open, we need £630,000 in donations. To open all 12 of our beds we would need another £370,000.
We have launched this appeal to help keep 8 beds open.
