Who should attend:

Open to all staff, volunteers and the public who want to know more about supporting the homeless community living with a life-limiting condition

 

Course Aims:

To raise awareness of issues and concerns in relation to the Homeless community specific to palliative care

Objectives:

  • To have a more rounded overview of compassionate palliative care
  • To explore how to help the homeless community live well with life limiting conditions
  • To be aware of the principles of good communication and become braver with conversation
  • To become more aware of our impact on the homeless community

Over the course of the 30 plus years Mark has spent most of his career within palliative care and oncology working as a nurse in a hospice setting, in chemotherapy, and as a urology cancer nurse specialist nurse.
