Christmas Packer, Online Hub (Berkhamsted)

Hours: Needed ad hoc Mon - Fri am approx. 9am – 12pm. (Mon – Wed tend to be the busiest days)
From beginning of Oct 25– end Dec 25
To support the online retail operation within the Hospice to raise essential funds for the service by securely packing and distributing items that have been sold online.
Tasks are as agreed with the Online Trading Manager, but will include any of the following:
- Picking & securely packing online orders to be sent out
- Printing out and attaching postage paid labels for parcels
- Helping to keep the eBay area clear and tidy
We're looking people who are:
- Systematic and orderly; with a hands-on approach and someone who enjoys wrapping parcels!
- Happy to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to help out at busy times
Please note that:
- The online area can become quite tightly packed; this may be an issue for volunteers with limited mobility.
- Full training and support will be given
- All volunteers agree to work within Hospice policies and procedures, within the Hospice Philosophy and to respect the Hospice policy on confidentiality around patient, internal Hospice, and commercial matters.
