Apply by Sunday 15th November 2026

Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Help us tell the stories that connect people with the care, support and opportunities offered by The Hospice of St Francis.
We are looking for a creative, organised and hands-on Marketing Executive to join our Fundraising and Marketing team. Working across the whole Hospice, you will help deliver engaging campaigns and communications that raise awareness of our services, inspire support and strengthen our connection with local communities.
This is a varied delivery and coordination role. You will create content for our website, newsletters, email, organic social media and printed materials; help coordinate campaigns and events; gather stories, photography and video sensitively; and keep activity moving against agreed briefs, priorities and deadlines. You will also support routine website updates, social media scheduling, media activity, and digital campaigns.
You will bring practical experience in marketing, communications, content, or digital marketing, together with strong copywriting and proofreading skills. You will be confident in adapting your tone for different audiences, managing several deadlines, and working collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers, supporters, and suppliers. An understanding of consent, confidentiality, accessibility, and the sensitive use of personal stories and images is important.
The role is primarily Hospice-based, with hybrid working by agreement. Travel to Hospice sites, shops, events and community activities will be required, along with occasional flexibility outside normal hours for major campaigns, events or urgent communications.
If you are a practical marketer who combines creativity with excellent organisation and attention to detail, we would love to hear from you.
