Today our free care supports 2,000 local people and their families, in Herts and Bucks. We truly are a community hospice, built and funded by the community, to serve the community.

We’re looking for a Deputy Manager to work with a team of staff and volunteers at Amersham Owned.  All our care is free and The Hospice needs £6 million a year to support our work and you will be generating vital income. 

You will be part of a team curating a carefully selected range of donated, upcycled and bought in sustainable products which delight and are good for the soul and the planet.

It’s a physically demanding job however, with the opportunity to make your mark creatively and be part of a vibrant and forward thinking organisation we believe it is a unique and rewarding role.

• Managerial experience within fast moving retail environment
• Passion for retail with a strong design aesthetic
• Demonstrable ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy and fast moving environment
• Ability to work at pace in a physically demanding environment
• To work flexibly across a 7 day rota

Please note the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced level DBS check.

• £17,896 per annum (based on FTE £22,370 p.a.)
• 4 days per week on a variable rota (Mon-Sun)
