Christmas Tree Collection
Friday 9th January 2026 to Sunday 11th January 2026
Recycle your tree with the Hospice
From 9th - 11th January 2026, teams of our fabulous volunteers will be out in and around the local area collecting your trees.
We’ll collect and recycle your Christmas tree for a donation, and all the money raised will contribute to the over £6 million the Hospice needs every year to fund its free care.
We’re hoping our collection can fund the salary of a hospice nurse!
Please note, we do not make any money from recycling/chipping the trees. It is only through donations that we can fund our care.
Tree registration is now open!

Generously supported by Volunteers, the Hospice’s tree collection service has raised a truly tree-mendous £146,000 over the last 7 years. That's enough to fund our community nursing service for almost 5 months or enough to fund one of our Inpatient Unit nurses for 3 and a half years!
To ensure our hospice care is there when you need it, we must raise at least £1 million more, every year.
The community are at the heart of what the Hospice does, and the support of fundraising initiatives like this are vital to ensure our free care continues.
