Giving in Memory

In times of great sadness, making a donation to celebrate someone’s life can be a real comfort. Your generosity will enable us to continue to provide our care to many more patients and families who need us.

Create a Lasting Tribute

A tribute page is a personalised, simple way to remember someone special. Set up in the name of your loved one the page is a wonderful way to celebrate their life. You can add photos, music, leave messages, include details about the funeral and even light virtual candles and the page will last forever. With a unique weblink you can share this special place with friends and family and make secure donations which come directly to the Hospice.

Donate In Memory

At a funeral service you may prefer to ask friends and relatives to make a donation to support The Hospice of St Francis, in lieu of flowers. Funeral Directors are usually happy to organise collecting the contributions and take responsibility for forwarding them to us for you.

If this is something you have considered, we can provide you with a collection box or special donation envelopes. If the envelopes are filled in fully by the donor, it will allow us to claim Gift Aid on the donation, thereby increasing the value of their gift by 25% at no extra cost to them (if the donor is a tax payer) and thank them personally as well. You may also like to distribute these to family and friends who cannot make the service. The envelopes can be collected in or forwarded to the Hospice at any time.

You can also make a secure donation online here.
