Become a Major Donor

What is a Major Donor?

The Hospice of St Franics is incredibly grateful for any donation that can support our services. With less than 20% of funding coming from the NHS, ALL donations are fundamental. However, we define any gift of £5,000 or more as philanthropic support, which opens the opportunity to be involved with the Hospice as a Major Donor.

What are the Benefits?

For us, becoming a Major Donor isn’t just about giving a one-off donation — it’s about joining our mission as a partner. We welcome the chance to meet you, understand your reason for supporting the Hospice and champion your involvement.

We encourage our Major Donors to visit the hospice, meet the nurses, volunteers and SLT. We want to involve you in vision-setting and celebrate your role in helping to drive change.

For many, the reward in supporting us is about the impact your donation can have, the legacy that comes with joining values and aspirations.

How will your large gift support the Hospice?

A large gift can be transformational because it can fund entire projects, sustain programs, or unlock new opportunities for the Hospice.

Whilst of course your monetary gift will impact the future for the Hospice, your influence with friends, colleagues or other connections can be just as valuable to us. Who else do you know that could also support us? Your connections could extend the amount of prospects and growth for the Hospice.

As a Major Donor, we want you to feel:

  • Involved in our future
  • Have recognition for your support
  • Have exclusive access to special events and impact reports
  • Have direct contact with members of SLT and Trustees
  • Create relationships with other Philanthropists and Major Donors in our network who share your passion for the Hospice.

Are you interested in becoming a part of our Major Donor program and be an important part of our future?
