Chair of the Board of Trustees, Tim Symington, was delighted this week to announce the appointment of Paul Hill as the next CEO of The Hospice of St Francis.
Paul is an experienced health and social care leader with over 25 years’ experience
across complex, regulated care settings. Originally trained as a Registered General
Nurse, he has built his career around improving the quality of care and outcomes for people and their families.
He has held a number of senior executive and board roles across care homes, specialist neuro care and fostering services, leading large, multi-site organisations through periods of growth and transformation.
Throughout his career, he has worked closely with clinical teams to strengthen quality, governance and service delivery, while ensuring organisations remain sustainable in a challenging environment.
Paul is passionate about compassionate, person-centered care and the role hospices play in supporting people at the most important moments in their lives.
