A few Mud Pack Challenge FAQs:
How fit do I need to be?
We would encourage you to have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to walk or run 7km (or 14km if you choose that option). The obstacles are great fun with varying levels of difficulty / muddiness and you can bypass any obstacle(s) which appear to be too challenging for you - however we will encourage you to have a go!
The Mud Pack Challenge is not a timed or race event, so you can get to the finish line in your own time. If you are concerned about your ability to take part in The Mud Pack Challenge you may wish to seek medical advice.

Is there parking?
There is parking available on site but please try to car share where possible.
Can children take part?
Yes, children 15 years old and over are welcome to take part in The Mud Pack Challenge. Please note it is a physically challenging event and so all participants will need to have a reasonable level of fitness. Children (15-17yrs) must be accompanied by a participating adult. One participating adult may take responsibility for up to two under 18 year olds.
I would like to participate as a team is this possible?
Yes! Go team! We highly recommend doing it together with your friends and family! Due to the nature of the event you have to sign up individually to personally agree to the t&c’s and a disclaimer. So just give yourself a team name during the registration process and share it with your squad so they use the same team name too! You can also set up a team fundraising page!
How will I be making a difference?
A hospice is a gift a community gives to itself. With every obstacle you overcome and every penny you raise, you will be helping to fortify your local charity, allowing us to support more local people and their families living with life-limiting illness.
Fundraising makes a huge difference and you can kick start yours by setting up an online Just Giving page and sharing it with friends, family and colleagues!
How our sponsors British Gas are helping us make difference?
"One of British Gas's core values is to deliver great service; with an ethos aiming to put the customer at the heart of everything we do and treat everyone fairly. This aligns perfectly with The Hospice of St Francis who work tirelessly to help people live their precious lives well, through improving symptoms, achieving personal goals, and helping them to feel safe.
The Hospice provides a dedicated service to those within their local area of Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire and can only continue to do so with the support of on-going fundraising. The Hospice provides free care to help anyone that is managing or recovering from serious illness. Serious illness can potentially affect us, our friends & family throughout the years, making this a cause close to all our hearts.
It's a pleasure and honour for British Gas to be able to provide support to such a wonderful charity."
Thank you to our amazing Mud Pack Challenge supporters:
