The challenge

We are so proud of what we do, and we know you will be to.  Our shops, whether traditional bricks and mortar or Online are absolutely key to funding the Hospice and enabling it to be the incredible place it is. And you could be part of that.

With a rich, diverse history, which began back in 1979 with our founders, we’ve been making a difference ever since.

Today our free care supports 2,000 local people and their families, in Herts and Bucks. We truly are a community hospice built and funded by the community, to serve the community.

Our shops are well loved local destinations known for amazing donations, outstanding standards and a warm welcome.  Our creative and hard working shop teams, together with the incredible donations we receive from the local community, are key to our success.  With all the profits going to supporting the work of the Hospice in the community you would be making a real difference.

where do you come in

People are at the heart of everything we do. And you would be no different. We are all vital cogs in delivering our care and support.

We’re looking for a Relief Deputy Shop Manager to join our bank team and provide relief cover to our shops as required, sometimes at the drop of a hat, during periods of staff absences. You’ll get to experience all our shops, help the shop teams to drive sales and meet our fantastic volunteer teams.

In turn, we’ll be right here to support you and your development!

You know it makes sense

  • Hourly salary £10.90 +12% holiday pay
  • Wide range of free training courses, plus personal development opportunities
  • The opportunity to work in shops across our diverse trading network
  • Fantastic team camaraderie, support and bags of positivity!
