Leave a Gift in your Will

How to leave a gift to the Hospice in your Will that will live on to change lives.

By remembering The Hospice of St Francis in your Will, your generosity will help us to sustain the specialist services that your local community will need in the future - helping people to live well and maintain their quality of life.

Our vital care is, and always has been, provided totally free of charge to those who need us. A Gift in your Will is one of the kindest ways that you can offer your support to the Hospice for its future and by leaving a gift in your Will to a cause that is close to your heart, this is a great way to make a lasting difference.

You do not have to be wealthy to leave a gift in your Will - we value all gifts from small items of value to antique furniture, as well as cash sums and occasionally even an entire estate.

Types of Gifts:

Pecuniary Legacy:
A fixed sum of money that you leave to a person or charity.

Residuary Gift:
Is the remainder of your estate after all debts and once other gifts have been made. A Residuary Legacy could be given in total or as a percentage share and has the advantage that it won't devalue over time.

Specific Legacy:
A specific item such as jewellery or a painting, that you would like people to have.

Our dedicated Gifts in Will team will discuss with you how to leave a gift in your Will for the Hospice.
