Leave a Gift in your Will

Leave a gift to the Hospice in your Will that will live on to change lives.

By remembering The Hospice of St Francis with a gift in your Will you can leave a legacy that continues to give care, support, and comfort to families and members of our community for generations to come.

Your legacy will help in so many ways to give precious final moments with family and friends. It will be the complementary therapy that eases the pain and helps someone sleep better. It will be the counselling that helps a grieving husband carry on.  And it will be the art therapy session for the little boy who lost his mum.

What your legacy can do

Through leaving a Gift in your Will to a cause that is close to your heart you can make a lasting difference.

Every single gift in a Will is vital to the Hospice.

It means that, in years from now, our nursing teams and clinical services will be here to help those in need of care and support when it matters most.

Types of Gifts:

Pecuniary Legacy:
A fixed sum of money that you leave to a person or charity.

Residuary Gift:
Is the remainder of your estate after all debts and once other gifts have been made. A Residuary Legacy could be given in total or as a percentage share and has the advantage that it won't devalue over time.

Specific Legacy:
A specific item such as jewellery or a painting, that you would like people to have.
