The Trek
Spend four unforgettable days trekking along the Salkantay Trail, an ancient trail of the Incas.
This route takes you through the quieter and more remote regions of other trails.
You will see mighty snowcapped mountains, lush jungles and ancient sites along the way.
After a well-deserved night relaxing in the spa town of Aguas Calientes you will finish the trek with a visit to the mystical city of Machu Picchu.
The Project
You will spend two days helping alongside the local community just outside of Cusco to improve conditions at a medical centre, school or community centre.
The activities you will be involved in will vary depending upon the greatest need at the time but may include building walls, creating a garden, painting and decorating or erecting a boundary fence.

Ingerlise Pope from Tring recently took part in Trek Nepal for the Hospice
"My late husband faced a huge challenge when he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. So in order to try understand what he faced, I decided to do Trek Nepal in October.
Being partially sighted with central vision loss, trekking in the mountains would be a big scary challenge for me. It certainly was challenging, but the friendships I have made along the way will be life-long.
Both with my fellow Trekkers as well as with our wonderful Nepalese trekking team. If it wasn't for all their help and support, I wouldn't have made it. It truly was a life-changing experience.
To anybody who is thinking about doing something similar, DO IT! You won't be sorry and if I could, you certainly can!"
