WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

The masterclasses will appeal to all healthcare professionals, AHP's and carers working with people towards the end of their lives.

COURSE CONTENT

  • Update on the current human stories and media attention that influence this debate and public opinion
  • Opportunity to consider the concept of autonomy: the patient, their loved ones and the health professionals
  • Discussion about the nature of suffering and the role of palliative care
  • Update on the current position following results of opinion polls from the Royal College of Physicians
