Little Gaddesden Church
Saturday 14th October
7.30pm
On Saturday 14th October, following a very successful Concert last year, a Concert will be held at Little Gaddesden Church thanks to the permission of the Vicar and the Church Wardens. The proceeds, which last year netted just under £3,000, will be divided between the Hospice of St Francis and the Little Gaddesden Church.
Jeanette Ager, mezzo soprano, will again be singing as will Marianne Cotterill, soprano, accompanied on the piano by Viv Mclean. The programme will be popular and varied and include works by Mozart, Rossini, Saint Saens, Bizet and Puccini moving into more modern works by Britten, and Gerschwin. All the artists are well known both locally and internationally and have performed in many concerts around the UK as well as abroad. Marianne and Jeanette are both currently performing at the Royal Opera House and Viv has performed with most of the leading orchestras in the UK.
The Concert will commence at 7:30 (Doors open at 6:30) and tickets can be obtained and reserved either at Little Gaddesden Village Shop or on line from MCRoberts4@aol.com from 1st September.
Reservation is recommended but tickets will be available at the door to the Church prior to the performance. Tickets are priced at £25.
