Material Legacies Exhibition

Wednesday 22nd November - Friday 8th December

The Open Door Gallery, Berkhamsted

MATERIAL LEGACIES IN THE LANDSCAPE OF THE LOST

Material Legacies brings together a collection of works that encapsulate the essence of three peopleʼs lives.

The project aimed to explore how art and craft can help process grief and loss. The three artists, who have all been bereaved, will share their personal stories of loss and self-discovery through their own creativity.

These makers, from The Hospice of St Francis, invite you to consider how they have crafted their loved onesʼ physical and digital heritage.

During the ‘Material Legacies’ Exhibition The Spring Centre; part of The Hospice of St Francis, is running a number of community events & workshops.
