10.00am - 5.00pm
The Art Bag Exhibition marks the end of the first year of the ‘Art Bag’ project, a collaborative initiative from the Macmillan Wellbeing and Therapeutic Programme, between the Starlight Centre at Peace Hospice Care and the Spring Centre at The Hospice of St Francis.
Each art bag, filled with a simple creative activity, this year weaving, has provided hundreds of people in the local community with the tools needed to ‘create, contemplate and connect’.
This exhibition will showcase the completed weaving looms, visually representing the hospice communities.
A participatory making space will be part of the exhibition; we hope visitors will enjoy some weaving of their own and add their piece to the evolving artwork on display.
Our Art Exhibition Launch Day takes place on Thursday 5 May between 5pm-7pm
Other events and activities include:
19 May, 2-4pm
Reminiscence Taster Day - 9 June (Please book)
