Wednesday, 13th June and Thursday, 14th June
09:00 - 17:00 on both days
Who should attend?
Senior Health Care Professionals
Content:
Based on the Connected training course, it provides delegates with key communication strategies for managing difficult conversations they experience in their role. In small groups (maximum of 10) delegates practice scenarios with professional actors playing different roles (such as the patient, family member or colleague). Each role play is filmed allowing delegates to look back at how they communicated and other delegates then provide constructive feedback allowing students to develop their skills in a safe environment.
It is essential delegates attend both days.
What have our delegates said?
"[The role play] proved to be excellent as we had actors playing the patient/carer and we chose the scenario we wanted to discuss"
"The groups were small and so I did not feel overwhelmed"
"I have come away with more confidence in dealing and discussing issues surrounding palliative care, particularly the difficult part of talking about dying and what the patient's / carer's wishes are"
Fee
£350
