In September 2017, 18 intrepid trekkers headed off on the adventure of a lifetime, trekking along The Great Wall of China.
There were highs (steps) and lows (valleys on either side of the wall!!)…..and even though every day bought a new challenge for the team to face, there was always smiles and laughter! People faced their fears of heights and squat toilets, and the whole team conquered the most challenging day at Simatai, where they were faced with an almost vertical climb of around 900 meters!
Now the trek is over, memories and firm friendships have been made - but the team have also raised a whopping £66,000 for The Hospice of St Francis! Well done Team Trek China!
