On Saturday the 2nd of August we held our first charity BBQ and Live Music night at our nursery (The Mediterranean nursery, Flaunden lane Bovingdon).
The evening was in memory of my late mother Eve Freeman and in aid of two charities - the Hospice of St Francis and Myeloma UK.
We chose these two charities because a very close friend has myeloma and want to help build awareness of what it is.And without the help and support of the hospice my mother and many more would have found their last weeks a lot more difficult.
Myself and my husband would like to thank everyone who helped make this event such a wonderful evening including: Lyn Hindley, Chris Wise, Tracy Read, Martin Read, Amanda Lawes, Natasha Kennedy, Hugues Audouard, Roy Harris, Clair Prescott, Roger Miller, Clair, Anna Saunders, Louise Oastler, Sam Oastler, Jay Spencer Christen Hindley, Jorden Hobbs.
Not only did we have an amazing singer, Johnny O’Sullivan, but we also had a raffle and an auction. We must say a HUGE THANK YOU to all those who were so generous with their donations and a massive thank you to Tracey Read for sorting all the prizes.
We are pleased to let you know that on this evening we raised an amazing £3018 - so once again we would like to thank you all for your support.
Best wishes,
Stuart and Debbie OastlerLynn Hindley and Tracey Read
