We were thrilled to meet with the St Albans Lions Club who recently visited the Hospice with a cheque for £2,000!
Their kind donation will help fund our next Cooking with Chris course for bereaved teenagers where six young people dealing with pre or post bereavement will learn new life skills through cooking, meet others dealing with similar issues, extend their support networks and build confidence and self-esteem.
The Lions fundraised through their Santa collection where they went door to door, collecting outside supermarkets in St Albans and also fundraising through their bookshop in Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead.
