Saturday 9th March saw 130 people attend Northchurch Social Centre's quiz night, and what a night it was! The event was sold out and everyone was eager to get their thinking caps on to try to win the quiz.
The evening began with a presentation by one of our Ambassadors who told quiz goers what the Hospice does and what the monies raised on the evening would go towards. Then it was down to the quiz questions! We received a lovely email from a quiz goer who thanked the Northchurch Social Centre for an enjoyable evening of brain stretching activity.
Along with ticket sales, donations and a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses, the evening raised a total of £1,149.57! A fantastic amount, raised by a fantastic group of fundraisers.
As it's our 40th birthday this year, we are celebrating by saying thank you to our supporters and fundraisers for all their support over the past 40 years. So thank you Northchurch Social Centre for fundraising for us and for organising a fun evening for our local community! We love what we do and we love your support too.
