The Kings Langley Art and Craft Society is a newly formed group, encouraging local people to share their talents and learn new skills.
In order to display their work, plans were put in place to hold an exhibition and sale in July. Publicity for this inaugural event was provided partly by a yarn bombing exercise in Kings Langley high street. Over 100 pom-poms were used as decorations, in addition to spider webs, tiny white mice, character post covers and many, many metres of knitted runners, woven between the railings.
The following exhibition and sale was very successful with a variety of hand-made goods available for purchase the group made over £50 and have happily donated that to The Hospice of St Francis.
If anyone would like to join their group you can find details about them on Facebook.
