What a fantastic day!! We had an amazing turnout and the weather was fantastic too!!
On the day we raised an incredible £922. Nisa Stores on Crabtree Lane also gave us a giant cheque for £250!
My Mum would have loved it on that Sunday and my family felt very proud to do something great for an amazing lady.
Myself and Ben have been overwhelmed by the amazing support from our friends and family, organisations and companies, helping us to raise much needed funds for such an amazing charity.
We would like to say a special thank you to:
HeartHemel Hempstead F.C for giving us the opportunity to play at their ground
HeartNisa Local Crabtree for their continued support
HeartThe Barmy Army
HeartGrimsby Athletic
HeartMonica and Sheena McKenzie for the African inspired jewellery
HeartLiam Jarvis (admin and designer)
HeartLee Collier for his commentary on the day
HeartOur Mascots - Benny Baldwin Jnr, Harry Baldwin, Milly Jarvis and Lucy Robertson
HeartBen Cooper (photography)

HeartAnd all of those amazing people that have donated so far, without you, we wouldn't have achieved our goals.

Ben and I are also walking 145 miles to raise extra cash for the Hospice.
Our mammoth challenge starts on 12th September at The Gas Street Basin in Birmingham and finishes in London on 16th September. This will mean five days walking in the day followed by sleeping in a tent every night!
Our overall fundraising target is £3000, including money raised from our Fancy Dress Football Match and the kind donations that people have made to the Hospice in memory of my Mum and our 145 mile walking challenge.
The Hospice of St Francis wishes Paul and Ben the best of luck on their challenge from 12th–16th September. We are so grateful to them for their on-going support.
