We were delighted to welcome outgoing-President Jim Gregory and Race Director Philip Jones to the Hospice last week, both of the Rotary Club of Berkhamsted and Bulbourne. Jim and Philip had come to present the Hospice with a fantastic cheque of £5,500 raised from this year’s Berkhamsted Half Marathon and Fun Run.
The Berkhamsted Half Marathon and Fun Run traditionally takes place in March each year and sees thousands of competitive and fun runners take to the stunning, yet undulating route through the town and into the Ashridge Estate.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to the new President Peter Brown, as we are extremely grateful to the Rotary Club’s ongoing support of our specialist care and look forward to working with them for many years to come.
