The golfers at Aldwickbury Park have been raising funds this year for the Hospice. An innovative idea which captured the imagination of the Ladies section has just come to fruition. Their Lady Captain, Gill Lee, challenged them to convert old golf balls into Christmas Tree baubles. Members were then invited to vote for their favourites by placing coins in tubs adjacent to each exhibit. The bauble that collected the most money was declared the winner. However, the real winner was the Hospice who will receive all the funds.
