Take a ride back in time at the Dacorum Steam and Country Fayre this Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July (10-5pm) in the 62-acre showground of Green Croft Farm, Potten End, HP1 2SG.
Enjoy a packed weekend full of family fun, from heavy horse, blacksmithing and birds of prey displays to glass blowing, archery, restored cars, farm machinery, vintage tractors and commercial fire and military vehicles - all in aid of The Hospice of St Francis.
Organisers, The Dacorum Machinery and Steam Preservation Group, has donated over £120k to the Berkhamsted-based charity over the last eight years to help it continue to provide its care for Herts and Bucks people facing life-limiting illness, and aims to inspire the next generation to preserve the vintage vehicles of their heritage.
There’ll be live music and fun for the children too, with circus skills, Thomas the Tank Engine rides and lots more. Plenty of refreshments too for all to enjoy! Entry costs £7 for adults, £4 for Children/concessions or £15 for a family ticket.
Hemel MP, Mike Penning, who attends the event every year as one of the Hospice’s patrons, said: “What the organisers do for the community is incredible – without what they and people like them do, the Hospice wouldn’t be able to continue to provide its vital services.”
Free parking with tractor/trailer rides from car park to show entrance.
