Salary: £6,958 (pro rata) p.a. + Benefits, Based on FTE £16,700
The food we provide is a highly valued part of our service, making a real difference to people. Our catering team provide a variety of food to patients, their families and staff within a state of the art kitchen. The team will also provide catering to Hospice functions, as and when required.
We are looking for an experienced Cook to join our small, friendly catering team. In this role you will have regular contact with patients, their families and visitors therefore a friendly, caring and approachable manner is essential, with the ability to work in a Hospice setting.
Previous experience as a Cook is essential, and you will need to hold a Food Hygiene Certificate.
The catering shift pattern is 08:15 to 14:15 / 14:00 to 20:00 / 17:00 to 20:00. The current days required are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with weekend working (on rota).
Please note: the catering team are required to be flexible to support the 7-day operation.
