Make yours a big day for hospice
(Herald Express 12/10/2006)

BRIDAL BARGAIN: Philippa Stewart models a wedding dress from Froxy Lady.

Brides-to-be can pick up a bargain wedding dress and make a substantial donation to The Hospice of St Francis, in a charity sale.

Hemel Hempstead dress hire company Froxy Lady is giving away wedding dresses to brides who will donate a minimum of £100 to the hospice.
Froxy Lady has six dresses to give away in sizes ranging from eight to 12 and satin shoes, which require a minimum donation of £10 and couture shoes, which require a minimum donation of £50.

The gorgeous gowns have been modelled, for the special sale, by Miss Personality 2006 Philippa Stewart and business owners Elaine and Stephen White are hoping she will entice fashion conscious brides-to-be.

Froxy Lady business director Stephen White said: "We wanted to help the Hospice because it is a local charity that needs to raise a lot of money for the new premises currently being built. We hope brides to be will be generous and donate more than the minimum amount because we would like to raise more than £1,000 for this worthwhile cause."

Froxy Lady has been doing its bit to help the hospice raise the £2.5 million needed to complete its new purpose-built facility on Shootersway, Berkhamsted.
Last March the dress hire company held a big sale and donated 10 per cent of the money taken to the hospice.

There are plans in place for another sale next March.
