Beauticians to nail funds

A Berkhamsted beauty clinic has arranged a week of indulgence in aid of the Hospice of St Francis.

Bespoke Therapy, based at Innergym, off Manor Street will be offering deluxe facials and manicures at special prices between Monday November 27 and Saturday December 2, with all profits going towards the hospice's capital appeal.

The private clinic is run by beauty expert Penny Hamilton who has more than ten years experience in the health and beauty industry and for the last five years has been a volunteer therapist at the Hospice of St Francis.
She said: "I approached the hospice after I resettled in Berkhamsted and I just felt it was important to give something back.
"It really is rewarding. It's a commitment, but when I go up there I really enjoy it and I've met some wonderful people. I wouldn't want to stop doing it now."
Penny specialises in face and body treatments, while her colleague Kerry Smyth is an expert on nail care and both give their time to help at the St Francis' Day Hospice.

Anyone wanting a bit of pre-Christmas pampering, while helping the hospice in its campaign to raise the £2.5 million required to complete its new building, can choose between a one-hour deluxe organic spa facial or a one-and-a-half-hour gel overlay for their nails.

Bespoke will also be launching a new range of beauty products in the same week.
Penny said: "During the week all profits from the facials, the manicures and the products will be going to the hospice."

The facial is priced at £45 with the manicure costing £27.50.
Penny said: "It's already getting busy so people need to book as soon as possible. I'm hoping we can really make something for the hospice. We give our time, but it would be good to hand over a nice cheque."
