(Herald Express 30/11/2006)
By Pete Bennett

NUMBER 20: Left to right - Deputy manager Nicola Harvey and Manager Sarah Coles.

The Hospice of St Francis opened a new gift shop in Berkhamsted last week offering a wide range of great Christmas present ideas and more.

Number Twenty, on Lower Kings Road, opened its doors on Saturday and proved an instant hit with shoppers keen to support the hospice.

Deputy manager Nicola Harvey said they had a done a roaring trade so far.
She said: "We were packed all day on Saturday. We sold a lot of Christmas decorations and have had to put in orders for new stock! Hopefully we can make a lot of money for the hospice."

All the profits at the shop will go towards the Hospice of St Francis and all the staff are voluntary.
Nicola added: "Throughout the year we will have different things on sale and there'll always be something new."
To volunteer to help at Number Twenty, contact Sue Jenkins at the hospice on 01442-869550.

The Hospice will be offering tours of its new premises from next week.
People will have a chance to see where the money they have donated through the Dig Deep campaign has gone.

There will be three tours a day, Monday to Friday, from December 4 to 22 and additional tours on Saturday, December 9th and December 16.
