WARMING UP: staff and volunteers at the Hospice of St. Francis Walk with the stars 2008 launch

'We want more than 1,000 woman to Walk With the Stars' says the Hospice of St Francis.

Fundraisers have set themselves the ambitious target of raising £150,000 in the 13 mile midnight walk from Hemel Hempstead to Berkhamsted and back again on Saturday, June 21.

SISTERS: Susan Chappin, Christine Creasey and Mandi McSwiggan who are spearheading the campaign.

Last year 800 women all dressed in hot-pink hit the streets of Dacorum for the walk and this year organisers want to make the event even bigger and better.

The event costs £15 to enter which pays for an information pack, T-shirt, florescent wrist band, torch, medal and breakfast at the finishing line.To register please visit www.walkwiththestars.co.uk.
