The hard fought match ended in a victory for Men's Captain Alan Parsons' team, who beat the Ladies, captained by Doreen Webb, 154-107.
This was despite the sterling efforts of Doreen's top rink of Carole Dunn, Pauline Medland, Beryl Parsons and Edie Coxhill.

Alan's top rink was Dave Sear, Brian Smith, David Lovett and Derek Cox.
During the week Berkhamsted beat Chess Vale in a mixed friendly by 105-72. Top rink going to the trio of Jean Greenfield, John Shotton and Jackie Cormack.
Colin Cormack rounded off the week with a 21-15 win in the fourth round of the Watford and District singles.'
