The Hospice of St Francis Corporate Partner Network
Partners working together
The Corporate Partner Network was founded in Autumn 2012 with just 10 Partners and has grown over the last two and a half years to include over 90 local businesses as members. The Network’s success has been in attracting an eclectic mix of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s), all of whom benefit from the opportunities they have gained in meeting and establishing relationships with other local businesses as well as knowing that they have also helped to change lives.
The Network offers a truly unique Corporate Partnership – business to business networking that benefits all members whilst raising awareness of the Hospice’s activities and needs. The results are truly moving.
Corporate Partners meet at a different venue each month, which is hosted by
a selection of different Partners. The Hospice of St Francis also hosts two flagship events each year, the Summer Picnic and Christmas party which reminds everyone what a difference each member’s contribution makes to patients and
their families.
Terry Martin from Just2Connect Ltd and Elly Davis and Kelly Avis-Hay from E K Procure Ltd met at one of the regular Corporate Partner events.
Elly Davis says, ”E K Procure Ltd joined the Corporate Partnership for reasons very close to my heart. The invaluable support they offer families in their time of need is second to none. During our time as a Partner my company has made many contacts beneficial to our business while helping an amazing charity support those in need – all of the staff and volunteers are an inspiration to us all.”
Terry Martin says, “I met Elly and her partner Kelly earlier this year. It quickly became clear that there was significant synergy between our two businesses and that we could introduce one another to
our respective customer bases, to generate new revenues for each of us. This meeting would never have taken place without the Hospice Corporate Partner Network. It has really helped my business grow.”
If you would like more information about the Network and how to join, please contact Carolyn Addison (Carolyn.addison@stfrancis.org.uk) or ring her on 01442 869555.
Join our Mud Pack Crew!
We need a huge team of 120 enthusiastic volunteers to make this event happen and help us to ensure that things run smoothly and safely on the day. It’s hard work, but good fun and we will feed you! So why not join our crew and invite your friends and family to join you too!
Colin Baker, one of our crew members, says, “I’ve been a marshal for 6 years now. The greatest thing is the comments and thanks from the participants. It’s great knowing that even though I’m not taking part, without me and fellow marshals, the event can’t happen. I find the events very rewarding, and feel very much one of the team.“

Will you Go Purple on Friday 9th October during Hospice Care Week to show your support for The Hospice of St Francis?
Go Purple is a simple idea which aims to generate wider awareness of our care and also to raise valuable funds.
Anyone can help us on the day by simply wearing something purple,
baking some purple-iced cakes and holding a coffee morning for friends or being creative and organising your own fun-purple themed activity – all we ask is that you donate what you can to help us turn purple into pounds!
