COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING OFFICER
37.5 Hrs/Wk ((P/T considered)
Salary Negotiable + Benefits

Are you imaginative and self-motivated, with excellent communication and presentation skills? Can you create and build new support within the local community, and encourage individuals, schools, churches and affinity groups to fundraise for us? Do you have experience of organising successful events and campaigns and working with volunteers? Most importantly you’ll be a first-rate people person, excellent at organising people, resources and your own time. If this is you we’d love you to join our busy, dynamic and professional fundraising team to help us achieve our £3.3 million income target.

DEPUTY SHOP MANAGER
BERKHAMSTED CHARITY SHOP

P/T - 22.5 Hrs/Wk on a variable rota (including alternate Saturdays)
Salary £14,446 pa pro rata + Benefits

Do you have retail and management experience? Can you lead and motivate a team of volunteers? Can you organise and coordinate daily retail activities to maximise value from donations? If you are capable of making decisions and using your own initiative then we would love you to join our friendly team of Shop Managers. You will be an ambassador for the Hospice within the community and enhance our charity shops’ reputation for the highest quality of goods and excellence in customer service. Driver essential.

HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT – DAY HOSPICE
P/T– 2 days (15 hrs/wk – Tuesday & Thursday)
Potential to increase to 3 days
Salary Band 2 - £12,793–£15,872 pa pro rata + Benefits

We are looking for a motivated, caring individual with some HCA experience to assist with providing care for our patients during their attendance at the Day Hospice, and on the journey to and from their homes.

CATERING ASSISTANT
P/T - 18 Hrs/Wk on a variable rota - including some evening and weekend work
Salary £11,583 pa pro rata + Benefits

We are looking for someone who enjoys preparing and serving simple meals and working as part of a team. Possession of Food Hygiene Certificate essential.

Advance Care Planning Nurse (Care Home)
20 – 24 hrs/wk (flexible)
One Year Fixed Term, Secondment considered
Band 6 or Band 7 up to circa £29,000 pa pro rata (depending on experience)

Do you want to take a key role in the development of wide ranging advance care planning education in the home care setting? St. Francis is a centre of Palliative Care Excellence, and requires an enthusiastic individual to deliver our Advance Care Project Plan funded by a Help the Hospices grant. You will have experience in specialist palliative care, knowledge of how community and care home palliative care works and a willingness to develop your teaching and education skills. You also will be organised, passionate, able to work both independently and within the team. In return we offer professional clinical and teaching development, ongoing support and a variety of palliative care experiences. Informal visits and discussions welcomed and recommended.
