Congratulations on a fantastic night. the organization was amazing very smooth, and all well coordinated and all due to you and your fantastic team.I think everybody enjoyed it even through Bourne End at dawn, cold and a bit tired..The pace was very quick and what was incredible back at the sports centre when medals,bacon rolls and coffee had been dispensed people still wandered about chatting,no one seemed to be rushing off,all pleased with their achievement.The amount of money raised was magnificent.

a night to remember, we will be there next year.

Hi my name is Helen Oborne and I would just like to congratulate everyone who turned out for the walk on Saturday.

Unfortunately mine is a sad story, my father died of secondary bone cancer in December 2005 not even knowing he had primary prostate cancer and his one wish was to come to The St Francis Hospice for his last days so my dad, sister and I got the correct support. With deep regret he was turned away due to the lack of spaces, hence my decision to do this walk.

I was a bit apprehensive as this was the first time I had done anything like this and although my friend Sarah Chambers had done the Race for Life a few years ago this also was a first.

We both very much enjoyed it and are ready to register for next year and hope to bring a few more friends.

I know my dad would have been very proud of me for doing this and I know in my heart he is still with me today as he was on saturday night and always.

Thank you very much indeed for your letter and the beautiful flowers, they were very much appreciated. I am delighted the event was such a success and so much money was raised for such a fantastic cause. All of us here at Sportspace were really pleased to be part of such a great night.
