A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO GIVE THEIR TIME FOR FREE!!
On behalf of all of the patients and families supported by the Hospice of St Francis, I would like to say a heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to the 1000 people who support us by volunteering for the Hospice of St Francis. Our volunteers work directly with patients and their families, ‘behind the scenes’ in practical roles and also help us to carry out the fundraising we need to do, through events and our shops, to make sure that all our patients receive 'Total care when time is precious'
As the Hospice Director, I see the special impact that volunteers have on our care, and I know that patients and families also appreciate the difference they make. Indeed, a family member recently commented on a volunteer in our Inpatient Unit, saying:
