Total care when time is precious

How can I help?

You can help in many ways, from simply talking to patients to digging our garden. Here are just some of the things you can do:

Care for patients by joining our Inpatient Unit, helping serve meals and drinks to patients and visitors, or providing a warm welcome for visitors at the front door.

Driving patients to and from the Day Hospice, using your car. Or join our team of minibus drivers.

Being the face of the Hospice by working in one of our charity shops or becoming a Hospice Ambassador. Why not join in with one of our fundraising events, or organise one of your own? We can offer you help with this.

Help behind the scenes Volunteers provide a wide variety of administrative support behind the scenes, in administration, reception, gardening and finance.

Gardening We have beautiful grounds around the Hospice, but they take time to keep in check.  Our gardening team meet weekly and work hard to keep the grounds looking wonderful for our patients.

I love the work. It is so varied – serving meals and drinks, running errands, chatting to patients and their families. It gives me the chance to give something back.
