Could you be the next Matthew Cutler or Flavia Cacace?
Well now is your big chance to be part of that glitz and glamour! The Hospice of St Francis is offering twenty females and twenty males the opportunity to be trained by professional dance teachers, Brian & Shirley from Baila - Cusworth Dance School, and take part in a Finalé Show taking place at Hemel Hempstead SportSpace. The winners will be crowned the Hospice of St Francis ‘Strictly Learn Dancing 2010’ Champions!
No formal dance training is required!
We want complete beginners to take up the challenge and seize this rare opportunity. Participants will learn one Ballroom and one Latin dance and then discover the buzz of performing when showcasing their newly acquired talents in front of friends and family!
To add to the glamour, on the night you’ll enjoy the luxury of a FREE hairstyle, spray-on tan and makeover, courtesy of Gorgeous Beauty and Gorgeous Hair, PLUS your stunning gowns will be provided by Froxy Lady.
Strictly Learn Dancing is a sponsored event and we ask each participant to raise a minimum of £300 in sponsorship money. I’m sure that your hard work and commitment will persuade your friends and family to give generously and help you raise even more than the minimum level of sponsorship required. Every penny you raise will go towards the wonderful care that we give to our patients and their families.
You will also be required to sell a minimum of 10 tickets for the final show so your friends and family can come along on the night and cheer you on. All tickets must be bought in advance (£12 Adults, £10 Concessions)
To be eligible for this fantastic opportunity you’ll need to free up your schedule for six weeks from Sunday 17th October for a weekly 90 minute training session starting each Sunday at 7.30 pm at Hemel Hempstead Sportspace.
You will also need to be available on Saturday November 27th for THE FINALÉ! Places are limited and therefore all names will be drawn from a hat on Friday 30th September.
Applicants will be notified, in writing, as to whether they’ve been successful.
