Total care when time is precious

Complementary therapies

We strongly believe that complementary therapies can work together with medical and nursing care to improve your wellbeing, reduce anxiety and help you to cope with your illness.

We have a growing team of volunteer therapists who work in our Day Hospice, Inpatient Unit and Outpatient Clinic and offer a range of therapies including:

Complimentary Therapy room

  • Massage and aromatherapy
  • Reflexology
  • Reiki therapy
  • Sound therapy
  • Indian head massage
  • Acupuncture

We will discuss which therapy might help you most and will talk with you about the benefits of each treatment.

Thank you for all the important tiny details that made the difference for mum; the delicate pillowcases, the delicious food, the massages and reflexology, the time you gave to all of us, listening to our concerns, feelings and problems, the time you gave to mum.Daughter of patient

Complimentary Therapy - hand massage

Most of our therapists are volunteers, specifically trained in their therapy, fully insured and managed by our Complementary Therapy Coordinator.

We also have a service offering complementary therapy treatments to carers in our outpatient clinic.
