Walkers win a Flight of Fancy

6 lucky walkers who donned fancy dress to take part in last Saturday's amazing Walk with the Stars Midnight Walk have all won a spectacular helicopter flight with Blue Sky Charter at the upcoming Dacorum Steam and Country Fayre on 24th and 25th July. (See our What's On for more details)

 

It was a closely contested competition with many walkers going to town with their costumes but here are the eventual winners:

 

The Individual Best Costume winner was Gwladys Ryan who creatively covered herself in yellow stars.

 

The Team winners went jointly to two teams:

The Harpenden Tinkerbells made up of Sandy Lowther and Anne Lea, who covered themselves in fairylights and 'twinkled' for the whole route.

 

And Linda's Lovelies made up of Nicky Tough, Beth Young and Laura Massetter (walking in memory of Laura's Mum, Linda) who had beautifully painted faces as part of their costumes.

 

Well done to all of you, thank you for making such a wonderful effort and we really hope you enjoy your prizes!!
