The work that the Hospice of St Francis do to support children facing loss was showcased during the BBC Children In Need Appeal on Friday the 20th of November.

Alex James, our Children's Support Worker, has been funded by BBC Children in Need to carry out extraordinary and creative work with some of our families who have had a berevement.

Her work has already had a huge impact and to highlight how the publics money has been spent, the BBC came to film for a day at St Francis in the summer.

They filmed Alex working with Maddie and Lillie and a five minute film of this work was shown three times on the night of the appeal.

The BBC feel that the film is very compelling and is the only film they have ever made in a Hospice . You can watch Maddie and Lillie's inspirational story here
