Welcome to the West Hertfordshire End of Life 2012 Education Programme
We are delighted that you will be joining us this year for our exciting and innovative education themes. Our themes are based upon key ‘End of Life Care’ clinical practice and policy.
Education is essential to excellence in clinical care and our programme delivers relevant education in an innovative and inspiring way. We aim to build on the best of our current services, facilitate and support others in the care of the dying and keep our guiding principles of “whole person, respectful care” at the heart of all our activities.
All our sessions are linked to the National Knowledge and Skills Framework and the Core Competencies for End of Life Care. Where appropriate continuing professional development accreditation is sought from the relevant Royal Colleges and Universities. In all our sessions we provide refreshments, a certificate of continuous professional development and resource packs.
We are continually adding to our education programme so please contact us to be added to our mailing list so that we can keep you updated with upcoming events.
We hope that you find our 2012 education programme of interest and relevant to you in your role and setting. Please feel most welcome to contact us to be updated about additional events or to make suggestions for education sessions. We look forward to seeing you this year.
